IRS Authorization 2026 · Status board
Rows start from the Financial Cents records tagged S IRSMON. The tracker reads Financial Cents to follow each form through to its return. It changes Financial Cents only when Carolina or Orlando clicks Publish. It sends nothing to clients, the IRS or TaxNow: Carolina sends to clients from Financial Cents.

Internal tracking only. Stage names, exceptions and fields come from the IRS Authorization Campaign workflow of November 6, 2026, with Orlando's changes through November 7. This tracker covers Forms 8821 and 2848. TINs are kept as the last four digits. Monitoring is not taxpayer representation: Form 8821 is information-only, and Form 2848 work is a separate engagement.
Working workflow and task list · Official · November 6, 2026
Roughly 80 ready-to-sign IRS forms (8821s and offered 2848s) go to Palmer clients through their Financial Cents portal. Clients print, sign in ink, and upload. We check them, then the work splits by form: Laura uploads each 2848 to the IRS and confirms it recorded at the CAF unit, and Carolina uploads each 8821 into TaxNow and confirms the client active. IRS processing and TaxNow activation finish after that on a follow-up queue.

Where a person is needed
Ownership by step
Carolina publishes from the client page in one click, then sends from Financial Cents. The tracker checks every PDF in FC and records the send from FC's date. Step 8 splits by form: Laura takes the 2848 to the IRS, Carolina takes the 8821 to TaxNow. Step 9 confirms the IRS accepted the 2848. Step 10 confirms TaxNow accepted the 8821 and shows it Active.
A completed FC task never means monitoring is active. Only step 10, confirmed in TaxNow, does.
Section 4
Target dates are planning targets for Carolina and Orlando, set to hit the November 25 closure. Laura and Beth work from the queue as packets arrive; nothing here asks them to act at a fixed time. Ticks are saved in this browser.
Section 5
Exceptions, tracked separately
Section 6
One row per form. The approved secure registry is the single record of authorization status; FC is the work queue and file archive.

Source: Outscore Client Authorization Delivery Workflow (Codex, review revision 2, Nov 6, 2026) and IRS Monitoring Work Brief v4. This page is the short operating version. When the two disagree, the Codex workflow governs, except for Orlando's changes of November 6 and 7: this tracker builds the FC project, Carolina adds each PDF and sends from FC, the tracker records the send from FC's date, Laura joins the chase, Laura uploads 2848s to the IRS, Carolina uploads 8821s into TaxNow, and steps 9 and 10 confirm that the IRS and TaxNow accepted them. Form 7216 is outside this tracker. These changes override both sources.
